Online staff
If you’re comfortable being on the internet and know your way about more than the average person, contact us for our hiring tests. We’re looking for people who can understand and moderate user-generated content, keep web sites updated, maintain databases, and copy edit and stream content. You should have good comprehension skills, above-average English skills, and tech savvy. Experienced with web-based multimedia and content management systems would be an advantage.
Senior Sub-editors
Mindworks is looking for people with strong editorial skills who are able to turn around copy fast and flawlessly. You should have worked as a sub-editor with a leading newspaper, magazine, news agency or publishing house.
Ability to perform well under pressure is a must and so is ability to work well in a team. You need to have 2-5 years of work experience.
Copy editors
Mindworks needs graduates with excellent command of English. You should have an eye for detail, a love for the language, and an ability to keep up with news and current events. Analytical skills and a strong passion for learning new things is important too. You should be comfortable working with teams and perform on deadline.
Senior copy editors
If you have 2 to 5 years of experience with copy editing with a leading newspaper, magazine, news agency or publishing house, we need you. Several of our projects require people with strong editorial skills to turn copy around fast and flawless on deadline. The ability to perform well under pressure is a must and so is the ability to work well on a team.
Copy chief
If you have 7 to 10 years of editorial experience and have managed editorial projects independently, contact us to schedule a meeting. You need to have worked as a chief or senior sub-editor with a leading newspaper, magazine or news agency and should have an excellent command of the English language. You should be able to ensure editorial quality on deadline while you manage editorial teams. Acquaintance with global media would be an advantage.
This job will involve travel or postings abroad.
